The Collaboration Filter

Stop saying yes because you don't know how to evaluate it. Start saying yes because the numbers actually make sense.

You get the email. Someone wants you in their bundle. A host is looking for contributors. A creator wants to do an email swap. And you have approximately no idea whether any of it is worth your time.

The problem isn't that you lack opportunities. It's that you have no system for evaluating them. So you either say yes to everything and burn out, or say no to everything and miss the ones that would have actually grown your list.

Here's what I used to do...

Every time I found a bundle or collaboration opportunity, my first instinct was the same - check the dates, see if they fit, and apply if they did. Audience fit? Commission potential? How much promotion they'd actually require? I'd figure that out later. Or not at all.

The result was saying yes to things that looked fine on the surface and turned out to be hours of work for an audience that had nothing to do with mine. And scrolling past things I dismissed too quickly because I never looked past the deadline.

I was making calendar-first, gut-feel decisions every time with no framework, no scoring, no way of knowing until after the fact whether I'd made the right call.

So I built a tool instead.

The Collaboration Filter is a GPT tool that evaluates any bundle, collaboration, email swap, or summit opportunity in under five minutes. You paste in the URL or the details, tell it what you offer and who you serve, and it scores the opportunity across five areas and gives you a straight verdict.

No FOMO. No date-first panic. Just a score out of 10 and a clear next step.

What it does:

5 areas. One clear verdict.

Audience alignment - Does the host's audience actually match who you're trying to reach? The tool checks this against your specific business context not just whether the bundle looks relevant on the surface.

Time cost - How many hours will this realistically take, including creating your contribution, writing promo emails, and managing the tech? It scores this honestly so you know what you're actually committing to.

Promotional commitment - What's the minimum promo requirement and is it realistic given your current capacity? One email is very different from three emails plus five social posts plus a live session.

List size requirements - Does the opportunity have a minimum list size? Will you qualify? Is there a paid tier if you don't? It surfaces this early so you don't waste time applying for things you won't get into.

Revenue or commission potential - Is there a tripwire, affiliate commission, or upsell attached? What's the realistic earning potential? If the only value is list growth, it weighs that against the time cost.

This is for you if:

✔ You keep saying yes to collaborations without really knowing if they're right for you

✔ You've done bundles or email swaps that went nowhere and wasted your time

✔ You're building a business alongside a job and you cannot afford to get this wrong

✔ You want a clear framework for evaluating opportunities instead of going on gut feel

✔ You're tired of making decisions from FOMO and want to make them from data

✅ Paste in a URL or paste in the details - it does the research for you ✅ Scores the opportunity across 5 areas out of 10

✅ Gives you a straight verdict and one clear action before you decide

✅ Works for bundles, email swaps, summits, podcast collabs, and affiliate partnerships

✅ Instant access - it's a GPT tool, no downloads, no setup

This is not a checklist you fill in yourself. There are no worksheets, no spreadsheets, no "rate this out of 5" exercises you have to complete manually. You paste in the opportunity, answer a couple of questions about your business, and it does the analysis. The whole thing takes less than five minutes - which is exactly how long you should be spending on a decision like this.
